Shooting Victim Plans for New Treatments

Anthony was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. A security guard mistakenly thought he was fleeing an armed robbery and shot him in the back. Anthony survived, but he was left a person with paraplegia and an uncertain future – unable to work or fully take care of himself.

Like many spinal cord injury victims, Anthony has researched regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy. He is hopeful that one day it will make a difference in his life. But he also recognizes that it may be years before any treatments are available.

Anthony’s structured settlement not only provides the income he needs to live his life and cover his medical expenses, but it also includes future lump sum payments that will allow him to take advantage of new treatments without worrying about who will pay the bills. Once again, a structured settlement provides security, peace of mind, and hope for the future.
