Data Security – IN YOUR INTEREST

Voice2News, LLC takes your information security needs seriously. We implement industry standard best practices to insure protection of your data and your subscriber list privacy.

Our servers are located in a secured and alarmed facility. Only authorized personnel are permitted physical access to the server area. We maintain both a network-level and server-level firewall to protect the server from unauthorized access and attack programs. All data and programs are secured with passwords that are only given to personnel with the appropriate access level.
All hard drives are automatically replicated using hardware redundancy to protect against a service interruption due to a hard drive failure. Our servers are backed up daily to a secure backup server. We monitor all network equipment and server software security updates and apply any necessary updates promptly.

Confidentiality Agreement – IN YOUR INTEREST

This Confidentiality Agreement ("Agreement") will confirm the understanding between Voice2News, LLC [owner of IN YOUR INTEREST] and [subscriber] in connection with Voice2News's receipt of information regarding and contained in [subscriber's] e-mail distribution list.

1. "Information" means all oral or written data, reports, records, or materials obtained by Voice2News, including names, e-mail addresses and other personal or business data, or even the fact that information has been provided. Information does not include, and all obligations as to non-disclosure by Voice2News shall cease as to any part of, such information to the extent that such information: (a) is or becomes public other than as a result of acts by Voice2News; (b) can be shown to have been already known to Voice2News at the time of its disclosure hereunder; (c) is independently obtained by Voice2News from a third party having no duty of confidentiality to [subscriber]; (d) is independently developed by Voice2News without use of any information supplied hereunder; or (e) must be disclosed pursuant to applicable law, regulation or legal process.
   

2. Information regarding and contained in [subscriber] e-mail distribution list is provided to Voice2News solely in connection with distribution of public interest and/or promotional content to those on the list by Voice2News and shall be treated as secret and confidential, and no portion of it will be disclosed to others, except to Voice2News's employees and agents whose knowledge of the information is required to compile and distribute the aforementioned content and who shall assume the same obligations as Voice2News under this Agreement. Voice2News, LLC, assumes full responsibility for the compliance of such employees and/or agents with the terms of this Agreement.
   
   Voice2News further agrees that it will not interfere with any business of [subscriber] through the use of any information or knowledge acquired under this Agreement, nor use any such information for its own account, other than for distribution of the aforementioned content.
   
   
3. It is understood that some of the content of the monthly newsletter will be provided by Voice2News. In the event of any legal action against the subscriber based on the content provided by Voice2News, Voice2News will indemnify and hold harmless the subscriber from any and all claims, actions and judgments, including all costs of defense and attorney's fees incurred in defending against the same, arising from the action based upon the Voice2News content concern.
   
   
4. It is understood that [subscriber] is the intended party and beneficiary whose rights are being protected by this Agreement and that [subscriber] may enforce the terms of this Agreement as if it were a signatory to this Agreement.
   
   
5. All information provided hereunder will be promptly returned or destroyed, as directed by [subscriber].
   
   
6. It is understood that no representations or warranties are being made as to the completeness or accuracy of any information.
   
   
7. This Agreement takes effect immediately upon [subscriber] subscription to Voice2News, LLC's e-mail distribution services.
   
   
8. This Agreement is electronically signed by an authorized representative of Voice2News, which is understood by Voice2News to be as fully binding upon it as a physical signature.
